Okra is one of the world's oldest crops and continues to be the most important vegetable grown in the tropical area. The special taste and nutritional value of okra attracts more attention in some tropical and subtropical regions. Considering its importance, Sinnova has intensive breeding program in okra for yellow vein mosaic virus (YVMV) resistance in hotspots of North and South India.
